Sister Katherine Clans of Kalquor edition by Tracy St John Romance eBooks

I fell in love with all things "Kalquor" with the Clan Beginnings and Clans of Kalquor series. The stories like this about the women who are central in the clans' lives follow the action in the Clans of Kalquor series. If you've read the associated COK (sorry about the acronym) book, these individual women's stories will bring a whole new level to the stories there. The books are not just repetitions that were in the original books. They enhance the story and fill in events from a different perspective.

I highly recommend all the Kalquor books and applaud Ms. St. John once again for her imagination and excellent writing. If you haven't yet partaken, pick up any of the books. You'll see that this author has a way with turn of phrase that will strike you as a lover of the written word.

Sister Katherine Clans of Kalquor edition by Tracy St John Romance eBooks Reviews

This is the first book in the series,,so I knew it would be different. But I can't believe I am going to say this but there was too much sex in the book. After a certain point that they were doing it,it seemed that's all they were doing and to me the story went to the background( it got to the point that I was skipping pages to get to the story), I think this is it for me in terms of this series.
I really loved this book. Katherine is naïve and deeply religious, but has a kind, open heart and a true love for her God. The clan is wonderful and patient with her. So why not 5 stars? Two reasons 1. I wanted to see them more outside of their bed chamber. I love erotica, but at some point I skipped over some of it just to get back to the story. 2. The children. While I loved the interaction, there were times I just had to role my eyes at the ridiculousness of them. All in all I would recommend this to anyone and it is a keeper in my library!!!!
I have enjoyed this series including this book. I would like to see the author write about a woman who isn't a sexual submissive as most women aren't and although it can be interesting to read about alternate lifestyles, it is easier to relate to a character who is more mainstream. I think it would still be a good series if her female leads were more average in their desires. That said, she is the author and these are her books so if she wants every female in the universe to be a sexual submissive then that is her choice. I'll continue reading this series anyway.
If you enjoyed the other books in the series, I'm certain you will like this one.

Though this one is billed as Nuns of Europa, it is really part of the Clans of Kalquor series. The format is familiar, a romance set against a drama based on an interstellar struggle between earth and Kalquor. This book takes place at the time of the final battle on Earth and the same time as Alien Conquest.

Despite the number of books in the series and related Clan Beginnings series, I haven't tired of it. Tracy St. John's Clans of Kalquor series is still going strong!
The story of Sister Katherine was both heartwarming and delightfully erotic, a combo we've come to expect from St. John. I was touched by the way all of the main characters' lives changed when they became a clan and when circumstances altered their worlds forever. Cool discussions of the roles of love, faith, trust, and religion between the cultures, too--along with sizzling hot sex! Not an easy thing to manage, but St. John does it well in this story. The way this clan handled the scenario of the captive women was an interesting contrast to Cassidy's story, a nice balance.
Only quibble was already mentioned here, that the kids were a little too precious, but that's no biggie. I loved seeing the big ol' Nobeks at the mercy of little girls. Keep 'em coming!
I really liked this book of the series because they're actually communicating with her instead of drugging her with their bite and doing sleep deprivation etc. That's just stupid IMO. Anyway, she is a very kind and good soul. She loves and cares for the orphaned children on the ship. I didn't care that they allowed the older nuns to be openly cruel to her. I also thought it was a bit silly for them to spend 3/4 of the book trying to figure out how to allow her to stay close to the children she loves after they reach their destination. There were any number of things they could do. That's what I kept telling my as I was reading it. Anyway, it was still a good book with a good story. I really liked the way they opened her eyes to the lies she'd been taught on earth. Instead of coercion they showed her love, compassion, kindness and patience.
I have read and LOVED the entire Kalquor series and this book is another great addition! If you don't like sex scenes then don't read books that are marked erotic!!!!!!!!!! That means there will be sex, and usually lots of it! This author does a wonderful job of putting the erotic in with a well thought out plot and story line. I think there is a lot of character development and I can't wait for the next one!!!!!
